How I would Give Away $1 Million

Selfishly, I’d pay off my house and buy one near the beach; get me, hubby and 2 stepkids a new car, and then share some remaining $$ with my family. I’d probably give my 5 best friends some $$ . Then I’d give to a charity called My Brother’s Keeper which is local to me and it gives Christmas presents to underprivileged kids and throughout the year , it provides furniture and other helpful items. Other causes would be Save The Chimps, Alcoholics anonymous, cancer research and lyme disease research.

About midlifeKrisis

I'm a happily married woman who is trying to figure out my purpose in life. I have a great husband and friends, an ok job - in this economy, i know i'm lucky to have one, and a pretty good social life. But...there's something missing. I feel I should be happier, so I've decided to start a blog to get my thoughts out there and maybe motivate myself.

  1. It’s not selfish to put yourself first once in a while. In today’s world $1million isn’t even that much, so you might want to invest some 🙂 If it meant not having to work, you could help by being at the charities you support to help that way, too. Just don’t buy a green dress!
